Traveling

I absolutely love going places and exploring new cultures and sights! I always travel with my family and if we are bored on the weekends, we just go on day trips. Sometimes, though, we like going on big trips. Honestly, when we come back home, it feels like we never went and that we have to search for another plac to go to! Below you will find reviewes of some places I've been to!

Hawaii, United States

Hawaii is definitely my favorite place I've visited so far; I went to O'ahu and the Big Island! There is so much to do, with activities for every type of person like: hikes, beaches, farms (macadamia nuts, pineapple, coffee, etc) farmer's markets, gift shops, restaurants... and even more! The view on both islands was breathtaking with the mountains, volcano (on the Big Island!), stargazing, and the natural scenery during drives! If you are looking for an adventurous trip or a relaxing vacation, I would totally recommend Hawaii!

Paris, France

I feel like I can go to Paris a million times! It is sooo full of rich culture...and even more amazing food! There are many shops, bakeries, architecture, etc. But wait! If you are an art lover like me - or even if you aren't - there is so much art to appreciate! Be sure to check out the Louvre museum if you are not short on time. A city like Paris is truly special!

Disney World, United States

Disney is the ultimate place for fun and to feel like a kid! There are so many rides for everyone, and I know that because I do NOT like rollercoasters! The Magic Kingdom is a magical time with princess visits and classic character rides. The Animal Kindgom boasts many different animals with real-live animal shows! Get ready to spend an awesome vacation!

Watkins Glen State Park, NY, United States

Watkins Glen! Trips always don't have to be extremely famous cities...I like nature, too! Watkins Glen State Park is a beautifuly hiking gorge with many waterfalls along the way, including a Rainbow falls where you can actually get wet by the spray of water! The hike is easy on a sort-of smooth rock trail where millions of people walk every year. You can choose to do multiple trails, the whole trail, or walk a little bit and just come back. Either way, there is natural beauty in this place!

Venice, Italy

I am honestly still mesmerized by Venice. It is so cool to think that it is a city of canals, with no other means of transportation (besides walking ofc)! When I stepped on the cobblestone streets, I was literally wowed. There were so many cute shops on either sides wherever I walked, and the small bridge above canals were great spots to take pictures. The plaza with the basilica (St. Mark's Square) was also breathtaking in the sunset, especially with bustling tourists and people waiting for gondola rides. We did a gondola ride right at noon, so that the water sparkled...and it was a little hot, but that's okay! Venice is a must-visit city for anyone!

Banff National Park, Canada

Wow, Banff was just awesome. We went to both lakes - Lake Louise and Moraine Lake. I felt that there were a lot more people in Lake Louise, but the view was grand. As soon as we walked there, mountains were ahead of us, tall and thin trees on both sides, with a very pretty green lake in front of us. There was also a trail around the lake with small spots in between the trail where you could sit down by the water. I thought that was really peaceful. To get to Moraine Lake, we had to take another shuttle. I thought this lake was wayyyy more quiet and we climbed up some steps to get to a peak of rocks which overlooked the lake. The view was amazing! I totally recommend coming to Banff National Park if you like lakes, hiking, or just want to view the natural world.

Barcelona, Spain

Okay, so I really enjoyed going to Barcelona, Spain. I genuinely only really remember the cathedral there, called Sagrada Familia. It was beautiful. It was soooo ornately carved and huge from the outside, and the rainbow stained glass instead honestly made me want to stay there for two hours. Yep. It was that amazing. We also walked around the city in the narrow streets and then the main areas/plazas in the evening. I think Barcelona is a good place to visit if you want to check off Spain!

Sintra, Portugal

I thought Sintra was a different experience for me. We started off by walking in a small town and getting Portugal’s famous custard tarts, and then waited a really long time for an Uber to come so we could go up to the castle. Pena Palace is located among mountains, so it was a very scenic, relaxing, and windy drive. We went inside the palace with our timed group, and walked through some of the rooms inside. I honestly thought that there would be more rooms on display or that it would be a longer visit, but it was actually pretty short. The view up top was amazing, though.
